If you’re struggling to find a suitable rental home within your budget, the National Rental Affordability Scheme could help. The scheme gives low to moderate income earners the opportunity to rent a home for less than that property’s usual market rent.
You can get started by taking the NRAS eligibility check. Eligibility is based on income, residency, and how many adults and children are living in your household.
Once you’re registered, it’s time to start house hunting. Properties available through this program are advertised on realestate.com.au as they become available. You can view the properties we have available here:
The individual property listings will have information on how to apply. Please follow these instructions, as they may be different from the usual rental application process. You can also pick up an application pack during the open house, or contact us to have a pack sent to you or to arrange to pick one up in person.
Tenants renting a property through NRAS may also be entitled to rent assistance; the usual Centrelink eligibility criteria apply.
