We offer a number of different services to assist children and young people in need in our community. We recognise that assistance when a person is in their formative years can be highly beneficial in establishing and setting positive behaviors that can enhance resilience and build self esteem and self confidence in the young person. Our primary family services are Foster and Kinship care along with residential care, both providing a differing form of home and family for young people in need. Our goal is for family unit reunification wherever possible. However, we recognise that in some instances for a variety of complex reasons this may not be possible. Through provision of our services we aim to provide stable, positive and caring environments where children and young people feel safe, loved and are able to grow into adults with positive self esteem and self confidence. We also offer services to young people through our Youth Development Officers who provide outreach services to connect with young people to promote positive socially inclusive outcomes. Our services to support children and young people who are in need in our community are detailed in the regional information on this site.
